This is a story about some mangrove trees that grow on the coast of Anom (Tangerang). Mangroves are considered to have many uses for ecosystems, mangroves that grow on the coast can protect the plains from waves and direct erosion. A different story was found during my walk at Anom, apart from the severe erosion, the condition of the trees was quite apprehensive and the trees seemed to merge with the amount of trash dumped along the beach. With the continuing threat from the rise from sea levels, ocean trash and coastal development, mangroves may vanish totally in 100 years. The trees that refused to die, were on the verge of death.
